yesterdays, todays, hope for the future.

went to some vegetable farm yesterday, once again organised by ma's company. woke up at 7.30, did the usual eating, brushing bla bla, and headed to her company's headquarters for rally point. onve everyone came, we set off in coaches to Kranji, Lim Chu Kang.

so we headed to this farm called Bollywood Veggies, or sth like that. the farmer took us to a short tour, talking about the various plants, their origins, how they grow their crops, the uses of various crops, and also what they are good for, and how to use in cooking. and also their dogs, think she said got 13 of them. the two at her house came forward when she called them, a male and female, both those back, lean and tall ones, not sure about their breed... they kept barking at us, several people got scared, though i find the dogs harmless somehow..

the farm is supposedly one of those organic farms, crops are grown by compost heaps, so the slight smell of poo everywhere, but not that bad.. water is from th rain and the ponds they use as reservoirs. she said that, when it got really hot, fires can also occur, so they use the water supply they have to put out the fire, and the water in the reservoirs always tide them through the drought..

she said that we should just let mosquitos breed also, taking her farm as an example, she says the eco-system can handle itself, frog eat mozzies, blah blah, and there was no need for chemicals, since god never created chemicals, or sth along those lines.

ate at their little bistro there, called Poison Ivy Bistro, since she jokingly said "her cooking sucks", but the foods are quite nice actually... fig tea, naan, curry, egg, beans in some yellow sauce, chicken drums, veg, and some desserts..
she said curry sauce, can put on bread, along with egg, cracked, put on bread, let it absorb the mixture, then fry over a pan. o.O...

the ride back was ok, saw the cemeteries along the way... imagine raising an army of undeads there.. wow.

it was nice to remove the pus at mum's ear, this time more explosion, whee!

chionged jianbao till 1 plus, slacking along the way, can't be shitted with the deco, made things simple, lawl.

came to sch today, bus was faster this time, and wad more empty, wow, the power of a bunch of primary school kids. saw a squirrel hanging on the trunk of the tree on my way.
shiyuan gave out sweets as children's day present, totally unexpected, but ya, appreciated that..

mrs tay gave out oreos as little gifts for children's day too, lol, so nice!

Must cling on to the faith, and hope foe the best tommorrow, even if I may not be lucky, hoo-rah!
