walking the way.

Bah, was crazy enough to walk from Fuhua to Jurong East yesterday. Took the way along the main road, past the Jurong Connector, following the MRT tracks.

Maybe one day I'll walk by the way those buses usually take.

Took about half an hour, I guess, coz I went to the library, login to the public coms and checked the time. lol...

Far Cry is ok, if abit slow paced at times. Removed Battlefield 2142 from my computer sinse it is too high intense. How can you shoot when your movement pace is oh so pathetic, lol.

I think I'm screwed for this soon coming CT. Like the music title says, "I Need A Miracle".

mrs tay, again!

Lol, mum spotted mrs tay at NTUC again, this time coming out of the exit, the alley between 7-Eleven and the handphone shop of block 399. Lol, I wonder if she really lives in this Jurong area...

Swimming instructor says he may open a life saving course during march, that would be nice, beats meeting another instructor to teach...

wonder how would the course be like? hmm...

Oh well, another step at a time.

And I could use 2.5k.

Friday 1 February 2008
white eyed pirate.

Went to NUH after to school to chop off my eyeball.

Shuttle bus at Buona Vista got shifted to Dover, since they building Circle Line, so mum and I had to make a return trip.

Quite ok at NUH, spending time watching Discovery Channel..

Never knew they used a machine to blow air at your eyes to check the pressure the eye can take or something.

And they also have a machine whereby they concentrate a (ray?) of light at your eyes, then hold a lens and moving the light source to kinda simulate laser running across the eyes. Dunno what machine is for though, lol.

Turns out those bumps growing at my eyes are like pimples on the face; "dirty eyelashes" so grow stuff.

Anesthetic really makes the area injected numb. Man, the eye feels bloated. And numb. And it really hurts when they inject the stuff right to the area around the eyelids. Ouch, I keep telling myself to calm and fooling my head that this pain doesn't beat my P6 one. (But it hurts more, ow.) Still, the anesthetic doesn't doesn't guarantee no pain. Doctor use (knife?) cut the bumps to let the pus out, still hurts as he applies pressure. So the operation was like a constant battle of wills for me. Keep calm, relax, say out if something feels wrong. And he also uses other tools to force the pus out. Owwie.

Walking is odd, other than the fact than people keeps staring at you. I can't see slopes that well with one eye, and I keep feeling sleepy. Dunno why, maybe the anesthetic or the fact that I have one eye covered.

Oh well, hopes it heals quick. This is one-eyed pirate, signing out.

esplanade

Esplanade was ok.

People at the back blasting Avenged Sevenfold. o.O.

So, the Esplanade, we all just walk about, and the ladies talk. First time went roof terrance, quite a nice place up there. The concert section was also interesting, since I've never been there.

Still, is just sit there and awe a bit only.

Free time went to check out library@esplanade. Really is very art in content. Music, music scores, piano appreciation, movies (they look old), and some other assortments of books.

Went roof terrance toilet pangsai, coz that's the only toilet I can think of near the library. Explored abit more of roof terrance, before walking down some stair, think it was access stairs, FM3. Then there were all these workers sleeping all over the place. I could've exited at level 3, back to library, but then got this China man sleeping there, so I went all the way to level one lor.

Almost lost when reached ground, lucky saw Ralf. (spell liddat right?) ended up chatting with some of the s5 near the porch after that.

Finished maths, except for 2 question, excluding 11 and 12. argh. chem's weird.
