Had liquor-filled chocolates. Real liquorly. It's like xiao long baos, outside chocolate, inside just the liquor. Damn powderful stuffs.

I saw a car parked illegally along the road, the family planting something in the dead of the night, workers working on the fence of the mosque, and 2 cats chasing each other all the way into the mosque itself.

A heavy sun shower in the day lets you see all the falling raindrops in one go, and makes the distance all grey.

Looks like the army is having mortar exercises again. why don't you ever get to see the mortar flares now? Last time me and my dad could still see flares slowly flying up into the night sky, then dissappearing.

Aww man, today's a crazy day.

So mum wanted to go JB, visit the new CIQ Complex, and buy some stuffs.

From Woodlands, take bus to custom checkpoint.
Now here's the fun part.

Walked till the check-in there right, then I found out my passport expire. So I can't go anywhere. Ahahaha! Mum thought mine hadn't expire, so didn't bother renewing it. So, since I can't go over, we discussed and they went off themselves. During this time, an officer came to escort me to their counter, see if they could do anything. (But for an expired passport, basically nothing. Can't renew on spot ar.) So they went through their procedures, then let me go home. Interestingly, their counter is set between the arrival and departure halls, well placed. And you have more people having issues arriving then departing.

Since I can't go JB, I went for the maths tuition myself. Took 160 to Jurong East. The trip took kinda long, from 2.30pm to about 3.15pm. So didn't get to do my plans to walk back home from Jurong East or take 98 to tuition.

Switched an old socket for a new one today. Pain in the ass to do so, to different years of sockets, with differing screws and pins. And the clips used to hold the fuse is different in type, though they clip n the same manner. In the end, opted for a haphazard placement of the fuse. So long as it does not disconnect from the clips, it should be fine.

hah, all the manual labour makes my fingers feel raw.

Still haven't done my work. Really asking for it huh. dum dum dum dum!


I'll make an exception for this post's picture. Big makes it so much more fun.

Never been using much of the computer these few days since my computer's cooling fan haywired, causing overheating and the system to shut down should I use it for too long. Changed the whole heatsink and fan at Sim Lim for a Scythe Ninja Shuriken chipset cooler. Much quieter than the old one.

Somerset to Dhoby Ghaut is only a short walk wtf? I was expecting something much lengthy and interesting... And PCBunk moved to Dhoby Exchange ar? o.O.

So I've finished painting 2 rooms and the entrance area in... 3-4 days bah. Wasn't always fun and games, and can be tiring.

Also went Ikea to buy some furniture. Alexandra Ikea rather big, but don't like their cold aircon. And basically shames your room to make you buy moar.
Ate at a nearby kopitham. Don't like their XO beehoon, not XO-ey enough. The deer meat taste nice wad. Assuming they are serving authentic deer meat.
Got a nearby shop, sell ang ku kueh, many pattern one, gt standard, salty, durian etc.. I don't like to eat ang ku kueh, but I like their durian and salty flavour one. Too bad they ran out of standard to sell.

Went Queenways Shopping Centre to buy a jacket/sweater for bro. Like as if weather in SG beri cold. But he likes to stretch his mom's one like rubber bad, so boh pian.

DIY-ing your Ikea furnitures hor, like playing with super-lego. See a vague picture, then you follow and do. And while it looks nice, you soon realise when you building it up that most likely it won't last long.

RI has no DnT and Home Econs leh, looks like. Ask them got DnT, the boy say, "Oh, you join our infocomm club, got robotics!" Ask home econ, they say, "Geography we gt learn economics." Lol at our 1337s!

Attended cousin's solemnisation at the restaurant in Yishun. Meeting the opposite family that I hadn't seen before is different. And the whole procedure seems awkward, as the man guides the couple to do and say what.

The new wooden chairs we bought from our local furniture shop looks like it has worms in them. Already I killed 6, and there better be no more. Don't think it's termite larvaes ah. The worms funny one, wriggle like catapillars, and yet can jump one eh!

So I've been having tuition at Orchard Plaza. Too bad they closed roof access at lvl 6. I still rmb the last time I visited the roof at night, looking at the people milling about downstairs.

Walked on the road on the way to back to Somerset MRT. Just along the side of the road, none of the cars seem to be using it. I think a few honked at me, but meh. A uncle was nice enough to close his truck door to let me pass.

Took train back, then this two people forgot to take their Louis Spittoon bag with them. I didn't told them, dunno why, little tongue-tied. So I was wondering if it's a bomb, or really their bag. Two stations later, I got my answer. As they appeared to finally realise the bag's not with them. Still not nice of me to not tell them from the get-go.

Started painting the room today. It's a little difficult to see what I am painting at sometimes, with hair over my eyes and a plastic bag blocking my view at times. Finished up the ceiling and the walls today, tommorrow just do the 2nd coating for the walls can liao, then we should be done.

Haven't started on my work yet, sadly. Maybe dun do maths work first, so do others? Very soon going to boh see gan liao...

Had pizza for lunch at home. Nice to eat it at your own place with family.


World War Z is a great fictional read. For a "what-if" scenario, the writer makes it look very plausible of a impending zombie outbreak, and through accounts from the survivors, bring you a few of the war on undeads, from the average joe, to the smugglers in China. At the same time, offering a look at the age old dispute between Palestinians and Israelis, government inability efficiency vs. morals and various aspects of life.

Udon's a nice watch. Basically, come and join in the celebration of food and its impact.
