Teacher day celebration today. Blah.

Our ACES day was soso as usual. Some dance routine. Bonding time, also dance routine. Dah, dance ain't my cup of tea, but meh, still gotta tank till CIP day.

Standing behind at the hall to film Teacher's Day Celebration was ok, I guess. Hid behind the foldable walls filming, ah.

Kanasai sia, go back pri school also only that few come. Lesser than last year lah. I see all the lower secs flowing in.. lololol... Weiguang now taller than me, Gerald's more matured in a sense, and there's those than haven't changed much. Hmm.

Last day school!

Helped out at sec 1 sports day. Wapiang, everyone sure can bloody argue about the points scoring on captain's ball. pfft. But don't blame them. Least they wanted to be top. Even if abit over aggressive.

I've broke a test tube and pipette so far in the lab throughout my secondary life. Suck, test tube's my fault, but pipette nt me eh, you mean whacking the pipette with my palm to shake off the water can break it? Kanasai, tio sabo sia.
David's right. And I know I feel... different. I don't know. Is it the environment, or is it me? I feel... unstable, and frustration does not help. Uh. And how am I to break out of this vicious cycle? I think I need help. Company, or something.

Celebrated grandma's bday with the cousins and the rest. Cake was majong themed, o.O.
Dinner at nearby hawker centre, seafood stall. Soso foods, but I'm not one to complain.

Army Daze was nice, though the show gives the feeling of simply showing only a few aspects of NS life, not fleshed out enough. And the fact that Art Central got the government censored version was kinda irritating, everytime the hokkien lang speaks most of his words kena mute. Sakin ar. CME teacher's version seems so much better.

Olympic Closing ceremony was yay-high. Opening looked much better! And what's with Channel 5 showing their ads? Bodoh eh.

Bored, kinda. I ran out of games to play on the ancient beast of a computer of mine. Recommendations, anyone?
Coz I don't wanna play another round of Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault for medals only..

Watched Money No Enough 2 at Friday as a sort of birthday celebration. The show's ok, it's got it's funny parts, but mainly at the first half, and after that things turn kinda more serious with the money and family matters. But overall, it's ok, semi-sloppy ending aside. Product placement isn't that bad too.

did weep a bit. mum actually sorta felt that I did!

Finished reading Halo: Contact Harvest. Nice read, fills in extra information on Humanity's first contact with the Covenant, and the Shakepearean quotations between the two A.Is.

And looks like I'm not gonna go for the obs outing afterall. Sunday's not available, and I don't think they chose a Saturday. Hmm.

Hahaha, sparrows having sandbaths sure are cute. They just lie flat on their bellies on the sand, and start flapping and waddling about.


And a cat today made me thought it was dead. Didn't react when people walked past it, but had breathing. Thought it was injured or something, until I scratched its ears. Then it did a lazy stretch, flipped the other side, and slept.
Hah, some lazy cat.

Haiz, ytd's lifesaving test only went semi-well. While all of us passed lifesaving 1 and 2, the tester didn't like what we did for lifesaving 3, and told us to train more on that and continue some other time. Oh well, least that gives more time for us to prepare. Nice instructor, in that sense.

Early celebration of birthday since parents not free on friday. Oh well, not that I mind, I pruss wan now anyway. So I had a durian cake, smaller than usual, but hey, just a cake, and durians taste nice! And got Contact Harvest and some other book Simple Genius as birthday gifts. And of course some angbaos. Not what I really wanted, but Contact Harvest seh, NLB until now still don't have, so ok, nothing worth complaining.

Yay, exams ended last friday! lol, now then say.

And for now, I've failed amaths, emaths, chem and chinese. Passed eng and geog only. But I'm proud of amaths cos I know how to do the last 12 mark question! abeit I didn't finish it.


Kena caught by Mr Goh for long hair. Never liked keeping the hair long anyway, so tried bargaining with him to cut my hair during holidays, so I get to save some money, but he won't hear any of it. So here I am, hair cutted, right after school. Haiz, but I understand. Having caught so many students who say they cut next time but never do, so his feelings kena con so many times liao, of course won't believe me ar, even though I know I will do what I promised.

Had this seminar on Saturday on SIM, about how to think on your feet, for 15 yrs up. Fun and interesting, she teaches you the various plans one can employ in our everyday lives, and of course eveyone's highness!

Don't think I miss anything. Now, to spend time on my other test. urgh, hope I pass. Don't wanna waste my money to the Singapore Sports Council or those swimming groups, do we?

Watched Gone Shopping on Art Central ytd. I think I know why it bombed in local box office. Abstract and dispersed storylines. Maybe as a art film, it works, but meh, still don't quite get the show.

However, I shall watch Army Daze next Sunday on Art Central, 10pm!

I think Ms Cheong messed up abit of history, on her statement on the Tiananmen Square Incident.


It appears that the man standing in front of the tank was not run over, instead the tank tried avoiding him, but he blocked their way, then climbing up the tank and having a chat with the tank driver.

Whether my information is correct on this is hard to tell, given the highly secretive and sensitive nature of this topic in general.

Maybe someday after the exams I'll watch "Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb".

School's walkathon, boring ar, plus I never bring a bag along, end upI hand carry the books to revise while walking, stupid sia.
Ended up walking to be the first few to return school. Would srsly prefer jogging.
And it was werid guiding the old folks around our school, didn't quite know wad to do with them. And it was scary when we lost one auntie. Ack! Lucky somehow the auntie managed to return to the group, heng ar..


Olympics Opening pretty sia! And it's nice we ate delivery KFC, and durians for this special occasion!
and Joshua so suay, nvr bring bring back geog stuff to read, lol! end up he borrow from me ttbk to read. Wah, tt's nt going to be enough.


Chicken rice's rice for lunch and dinner today, woohoo! May be dry and hard, but not as bad!
Offered offerings for 7th month today, wee! Big winds as usual, so hard to setup fire. Did it anyway, and burnt those papers, etc...
I still enjoy the throwing of fruits across the street! Rambutans and longans are nice to throw, espicially when you throw a longan with its stalk, flies far! Throwing bananas also nice ar! All these people and cars were walking by during this time, so I "aimed" at them for the sport of it, lucky hit nothing but roads and pavements, lol! Mum secretly let me throw the oranges without dad knowing, haha! So nice seeing the orange splaying out its juice as it hits the road, then bounce and dribble on the pavement, woohoo!

Happy National Day Singapore!

NDP may not be as organised as the Olympics opening, but not to shabby either. Good try!

Watched "Super Sized Me" for English today. Haha, sure, I've watched that before on Arts Central, but it's still nice to watch it again!

Besides, I watched only mainly the back part of the show, and bits of the front part at Chervon's chalet only..

Man, really have to start trying to remember lifesaving 1 - 3, otherwise the fort week's exam sure die sia...



And today's lift is crazy. The lift was rattling as it travelled up it's shaft, like the lift is constantly hitting something sticking out throughout the shaft. Good thing the lift didn't fall, haha....


And got a letter to fill in particulars for the IC thing. sian. Writing down my particulars isn't the best thing I like.

Finished reading Death Masks of The Dresden Files. Been reading the series for quite some time, and it has always been a great read, the only problem being that in can be hard to find in library, well, almost most of the time...

And Clodhoppers still tastes nice!

A helicopter was flying around above Seattle when an electrical malfunction disabled all of the aircraft's electronic navigation and communications equipment.

Due to the clouds and haze, the pilot could not determine the helicopter's position. The pilot saw a tall building, flew towards it, circled, and held up a handwritten sign in large letters - "WHERE AM I?"

People in the tall building quickly responded to the aircraft, drew a large sign, and held it in a building window.

"YOU ARE IN A HELICOPTER."

The pilot smiled, waved, looked at his map, found his directions, and flew to Seattle airport safely.

The co-pilot asked "How did you manage to find your way?". The pilot said "I knew that tall building had to be MICROSOFT, because they gave me an answer that was technically correct but completely useless."
