I'm getting nerdgasms, lol. Everytime I play a new game and see the all new beefed up graphics, I suddenly realised how lousy my old computer was, lol.
Another 10th anniversary run today. How would toss the coil of wire up from 2nd to 3rd floor? The ground's much more crammed.
Having runny nose and sore throat sucks.
Celebrated Dad's birthday yesterday. Sorta. I think his actual birthday is on the 20th instead. I think he really likes his new digital camera. He watched Angels and Demons with mum after that.
Really tired from the twentyfour hour competition. But seriously, I think my group cmi sia, but that video. And Joshua's group has video errors. Haiz, looks like this time the elites won the race. I would have liked it more if we underdogs won the prize from right under their noses, hah! Well, at least it was fun hanging out at someone else's house. And I like our makeshift cigarette from paper and leaves, although it did not make it into the final cut of the video...

Finally got this computer up and running. This new little baby's a new one, running on Windows 7. Not stable, perhaps, but good enough. Now I know what a pain it can be if you never research your goods properly. With salesmen doing hard sell tactics here and there, it can be a royal pain in the ass. So, now I learnt to:

• Watch the casings! This includes how much space your other stuffs would take up in the casing, and whether is it big enough.
• Power Supply Unit! Always have a clear idea how much power your stuffs need, otherwise if the power supply unit does not provide enough wires for you, you can be in deep shit.
• Warranties! Very important. Never, ever take them out of where they were from, otherwise you may live to regret it when you have no idea which warranty belongs to which product. And since DIY PCs have warranties for individual parts only, doing that can bring you alot of trouble.

Tiring sia, Friday's 10th Anniversary rehearsal. Since we were to film the guest of honour moving from the foyer to the porch, we had to figure out how do using a 100m wire. School's wireless system sucks. And so we had some crazy idea of getting the wire down level 3's control room to ground floor, film the GOH walking from foyer down corridor, then when he's nearing the porch, quickly detach the wire and throw it up to lvl 2 for Cam 2 to use. Walao, all the running and pulling of wires tired sia, reached home dozed for a while.

Don't know why Junboon and Kelvin wanted to come see me build com sia. But it's good to learn! So thanks for helping out and using eyepower, and Xinyu for doing lots of the stuff, and being a guide in Sim Lim Square!

I like the Zombie Survival Guide. But I think prefer World War Z for being more drama.

I see my MYE marks ah, I sian diao ah I tell you. Haiz.

And NLB approved my recommendation of The Dresden Files: Turn Coat. Woo! I thought they wouldn't bother viewing it.

Today no pictures, coz i'm currently using my mum's office laptop, and my links are in my spolit com. wait. oh shit, i think i didn't store them in the hard disk! aww man there goes the more recent collections... some of them is really good eh! aahh...


At least I backed up my music in my hard disk, mp3s and online, along with some of my parent's and brother's data. You can never be too careful with your data this days. That sounds wrong. Ah heck.

So I have a power supply unit that has a spolit fan, and my friend thinks my video card is spolit too. So now I think I'm better off getting a new one than repairing the parts themselves; more cost-effective anyway.

So I spent my weekdays reading more newspapers, getting more naps and revising abit more for physics and physical geog. And reading The Zombie Survival Guide. Awesome read. But World War Z has more drama. The Guide is, literally, a guide. And all you machinegun lovers, screw you! I'll let you all read on Monday if you are interested, since I'm bringing it for reading.

And 4 days off facebook gives me 99 notifications? Siao ah you all so much activities. But nice for 4D :)

went to pick up mum from airport today, then talked and had lunch at Breek's,whatever that is. Nice western food. I liked being pushed on the trolley around the airport, and pushing mum too! T3's Ya Kun not as nice as Far East Plaza's one. Not hard enough.
Dapowed some Popeye's chicken home for dinner. It's now 1 plus, 5 hours after dinner and i still feel sorta full, and had pooped a second time in one day. At least I have a hard tummy for once. You touch it and its... hard. Damn and I look like man pregnancy or something.

I see why people like laptops now. It's light, portable, doesn't take up much space, and provides decent computing power. Now if only my little pinky stops hitting the Caps Lock button nowand then. And the Brain.

Now staring at what parts to get to build this new com. Choosing a processor and motherboard, headache sia.
At least now no exams liao, free ah!

can't rmb what else I wanted to blog. oh well, next time.

Wah, go take my uniform to change into this morning end up see headline "Mas Selamat is captured". Awesomeness. Was surprised seeing that ah. And I think the rest of Singapore also.

Chem test can die lah, since I suck at chem. But emaths leh, lao, made careless mistakes that shouldn't be done ah! sian.

XP Tongkat Ali Supreme no longer allowed in Singapore liao! lol, no more super viagra for those horny ppl liao.

These runners damn one kind sia. First threw black paint at neighbour's door there, then blue, green and now red. Eh, I know blue pruss green pruss gib me black, but must show liddat meh?

Feeling crappy does not grant you the right to throw a big tantrum, get all crazy, start pouring soap suds all over the toilet and damaging a pail in the process, poke holes in the mouse wristrest, spraying its contents all about you, and being a complete jerk.

Amaths sucks. Emaths test can pass bah, rather easy, and the SS and Histories, think can lah. Geog also. As for chem.. gg.

And if a Deadpool is going to be made, that'd be awesome! Just keep his craziness, breaking of the 4th wall, and his sense of reality..

Neighbours got hounded by loansharks recently. Since as guarantor, they would be hounded when the one who borrowed ran. In this case, one of their friend. So far they threw smelly eggs, scrawed their address on walls, and poured paint. They ran for now, the family, but they will be back, they know it.
Saw one of them teens doing it today. Didn't do anything. I'm mad, not that the neighbour had borrowed money, but because I hadn't the balls to go do anything about it. He's right there, a orange-tee teen, (no older than me?) with orange hairdo. And I didn't bother to retaliate. I'm mad at myself, and next time, if I see them, I would seriously think of chasing them away. But through peaceful methods first, perhaps. Plain brute force will never break the endless cycles of revenge. But would I be gentlemanly enough to do that?


English and chinese exam, think can ah. But the MYEs suck.

Watched a chinese musical on Labour Day at the Central Library. They only opened the top few and basement levels only though. Lee Kong Chian Reference Library is closed, all dark. Would have been interesting to be there. The lift would only get you up to level 5, and after the musical ended, only level 1. Bah. The show's interesting, got sing song, got strong cast, and storyline love and life. Something tells me though, that there's a more underlying message for those who could understand it better...
Oh ya, dinner's at the Old (Chee Kee?) Hainanese Chicken Rice shop, just across the street from the Central Library. Dad said it had moved from where it used to be, replaced by education centres. Its old site was only a few streets away. And the site of his old primary school, is now replaced by a hotel. You could see a Shaw Building from the old site. I think it's the one where it currently is a pub, but about to be renovated to become a cinema once again. The chicken rice is nice, better than the hawker ones. The rice is not as dry, chicken's cool and easy to chew, and their dishes are good. Whether this new shop is the same as the old one, I don't know. Names come and go whenever a move takes place.

I like spying on others. They attracted me to them with their chatters anyway. At night, it does not take much to be heard. Why there ere still teenagers out on the streets, I don't know. It was going to rain, even if it's going on far away. Cats are prowling about the mosque too. One was up on the trees, while another was trying to climb it. Time passed, and the rain is getting closer; you can't see it, but you can hear the thunder getting louder, closer, the flashes of lightning brighter. Sometimes they get so bright, or close enough, that they illuminate the ground like daylight for that brief second. Marvellous. You could even feel the waves of thunder through the wooden door.

And I saw, finally my wish was granted: It started as a sudden gush of wind. Then, I saw the rain falling across the streets. First time I managed to see rain falling metres away from me. The wind got stronger, the thunder louder, and I know the rain is rushing over to me, and in a blink of an eye, rain is pelting on my windows.





Pity it was a night, or was it? Next time, I want to see my old wish come true: Rain on your left, dryness on your right. Right in the middle of the two. That would be fun.
