first day at obs was mainly all logistics. Got split into a group called Columbus. Checked equipments, splitting up of food rations, and played some minigames. Night came and we did some journalling, pitching of tents, cooked dinner and to bed. The flat ground wouldn't bother you at all when you're all tired, and have to sleep from 11 to 5.

day 2, packed up, did 5BX, some games. Abseiling was fun! No idea why the rest complained it's tough and all. Anytime I felt that I was gonna hit the rock face, I just released both my legs instinctively, and jammed my legs in the direction I was hitting. Whee! Also learned how to kayak. Sure is physically demanding. We had to paddle our way to another campsite, no potable waters there, so we had to bring our own along. I was practically paddling mindlessly in the front of the kayak, left, right, left, right, practically no breaks at all. Wonder what got into me. Lost my glasses to the sea while paddling between Coney Island and Pulau Ubin. It sorta dropped onto my laps, then a wave came, moved the boat, and caused the glasses to fall. So Tuesday you'll be seeing me in my old glasses. And things afar don't look clear with it, aww! Learned not to anyhow throw rubbish, it irritated me seeing the rubbishs in the sea. And on the beach.

Unable to bathe on our campsite, we just had a powder bath, literally. Slept for awhile, then had sentry duties from 2 to 3am. It bores. The wild dogs didn't wanna come to play too. :(

3rd day's sea expedition is even better! Paddle through the mangrove swamps, and make one around around Pulau Ubin to get to Campsite 1. In the mangrove was fun! Sitting in the centre, we constantly reversed our course. (The map was not updated) And we split our roles to 3. Shah infront paddles forward, I'm in charge of pushing us away from the mangrove trees, and Leon does the steering. My long legs makes me more prone to getting cramps, so anytime I'm tired, I just dip my feets into the waters. Open seas kayaking is so much better to steer. Reaching Campsite 1, we were like in heaven! Finally, dinner cooked by others, and toilets to bath! I got sunburned, but it didn't hurt at all. o.O.

Woke up late the next day. Walao, rush rush rush. 5MX and running 5 rounds around the compound. Phew! Land Expedition's to navigate through the forests from Camp 1 to 2, passing checkpoints here and there. We kinda sucked at it, so when we met Cheng Ho watch, we had a challenge to finish this thing the first. Loser does cleaning for the other group. Columbus wanted to backstab Cheng Ho on this, when we could do this together. I kinda disliked this idea, so I slowed down my pace of walking. Told Shiyuan what we're doing when we got a chance to meet for a short while. Didn't know if it helped, but it makes me feel better. We lost the challenge ultimately. Oh well, retribution or not, it doesn't matter, at least you learn that nothing is impossible with doggone determination. Back, arms and shoulder blades does hurt from carrying the heavy backpack and tentage. Oh well, no pain no gain.

Dinner, also had another challenge with Cheng Ho. Tie! Our raisin rice was "bleh" though. Tat Wee, Anthony and I tried tanking it, but it really tasted horrible. Threw it away in the end. Pitched tents, bathed and slept.

Cold morning for 5th day. Didn't realise we had stored so much food for us all! Placed back equipments, did some souvenir shopping, some games, before heading home. Can't say I won't miss OBS, and also...

And of course, the Fuhua ppl with us, Tedmond, Leon, Melissa and Huiqi!

And being Level 10 by day 5....

for disgustingness level, lol! (Loud burps and crazy squats that others can't seem to do makes people laugh!)
