white eyed pirate.
Went to NUH after to school to chop off my eyeball.Shuttle bus at Buona Vista got shifted to Dover, since they building Circle Line, so mum and I had to make a return trip.
Quite ok at NUH, spending time watching Discovery Channel..
Never knew they used a machine to blow air at your eyes to check the pressure the eye can take or something.
And they also have a machine whereby they concentrate a (ray?) of light at your eyes, then hold a lens and moving the light source to kinda simulate laser running across the eyes. Dunno what machine is for though, lol.
Turns out those bumps growing at my eyes are like pimples on the face; "dirty eyelashes" so grow stuff.
Anesthetic really makes the area injected numb. Man, the eye feels bloated. And numb. And it really hurts when they inject the stuff right to the area around the eyelids. Ouch, I keep telling myself to calm and fooling my head that this pain doesn't beat my P6 one. (But it hurts more, ow.) Still, the anesthetic doesn't doesn't guarantee no pain. Doctor use (knife?) cut the bumps to let the pus out, still hurts as he applies pressure. So the operation was like a constant battle of wills for me. Keep calm, relax, say out if something feels wrong. And he also uses other tools to force the pus out. Owwie.
Walking is odd, other than the fact than people keeps staring at you. I can't see slopes that well with one eye, and I keep feeling sleepy. Dunno why, maybe the anesthetic or the fact that I have one eye covered.
Oh well, hopes it heals quick. This is one-eyed pirate, signing out.
