Watched The Dark Knight yesterday!SPOILERS!
The new look for Gotham is great, no longer as dark, Victorian and gritty as the first film, instead now, it's more bright, like a visual way of showing the new hopes for Gotham.
The action scenes were great too, big, gritty, and shows Joker's love for chaos.
Some scenes make sense to the real world, and some of the alluding facts when Joker points out that Batman as "a freak" just like him. Using handphones to emit sonar, Batman tracks down the Joker. Now, replace Batman with Bush spying on American phones to hunt down terrorism.
Overall, the movie was very good, stuck very well to the darker parts of the Batman series. I was wondering why some moviegoers were laughing at some of the brutal/fighting scenes. Because, if you delve into the world, it isn't really fun at all times. The occasional dark humour, sure..
Still, really enjoyed the movie very much!
Today's english test, I slept through the first half, haha! at least I still managed to complete the compo by the second half.
And yesterday's swimming was fun. Instructor never come, so all of us slacked at JE swimming complex! Woohoo! trying to reach and climb up the walls at the wave area was fun!
